Default is there a difference in needles???

how exactly is it worth it? why not buy the jets within the useful range and buy the same taper needle thats in the kit?

No lid or most of it removed with either slip on or full exhaust.
CT racing's titanium needles =$25 or so & they use the Dyno jet taper but Mikuni spacing/width-best of both worlds!
0-3k elevation = 160-165 Mikuni mains, use one size smaller depending on amount of lid removed etc.
Clip =pos 3 both sides.
Pilots = 22.5 or 25 depending on how it runs down low.
Fuel screws =3 turns or less each side, again depending on the down low...

The point I was making about it being worth it is, you don't have to worry mismatching brands of jets and needles, can't use DJ jets with GYTR needles and so on. You take the GYTR kit and totally swap everything out, all matching hardware. If you happen to go lidless, which alot of people do once they start making airbox mods, in my experience the GYTR kit performed better than the DJ kit.

I have buddies who have tried the, buy this jet, buy that needle, and where it may work for many, it doesn't work for all. Now they wish they would have just bought the entire kit, swapped out everything and been done with it.

This is the route I went, with great results, like I said, it may not be right for everybody, but it was right for me.
