Building a Banshee with power down low - HOW?
#11
Your two most important things you can do for your banshee for low end power is proper porting work to move the power band lower, and adding the Trinity 2 into 1 carb. I have on mine to complement the v force reeds as well. This will definately help your low end power. The only problem I have on my banshee now believe it or not is that it hits too hard down low. One of my friends had almost the same set-up as mine last year with a dyno port pipe instead of my Bills. His power was lower than mine and we both had the same carbs and cool heads, but I ran higher compression 18cc domes and 110 octane race gas so I blitzed by him on top end where is he ran out of steam with the dyno port on top. FYI. Oh I also forgot I had stage 2 porting done by a German race team in the states and he didn't have port work done to his as far as I know. But all in all I was running probably about 10 more hp than him. Mine, I'm guessing is still around 68-70hp.

TRX440,
take your bike to Kenz Cycle tech in Mesa. He cn uild you a killer bansheee with tons of torque. i had him build me a 420 Stroker and it has awesome low end. Cruise the dunes all day in 3rd gear.

A friend of mine has a 03 Banshee with the Trinity single carb setup on and it feels like a monster 250r instead of a Banshee now. He also has FMF pipes and a coolhead.
It's completely different than any other Banshee I've ridden and it works perfectly on a 1/4 mile oval track. Incredibly smooth power delivery instead of the usual on/off Banshee powerband.
