Default Warrior clutch

I have a 96 Warrior and after riding it hard for a few hours and crossing lots of deep water and mud. Now my clutch will not go in all the way. It only goes in about 3/4 of the way. While I was riding it did seem like it might of been slipping but now It still shifts and works fine the next day. Just the lever will not go in all the way.Does it need adjusted or do I need a new clutch or cable. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Warrior clutch

I had a similar problem with mine what I did was disconect the whole cable and lubricate it with WD40 and oil and i kept pulling and pushing the metal cable back in stimulating like the clutch and then after 5 to 8 minutes put it back on.

Or adjust it remove the protector and mess around with the round jog dial to loosen up the clutch.I hope that will help your clutch problem.By the way you can also adjust it to your liking i have mine as comfartable as possible. If all else fails get yourself a new clutch and cable but thats a last resort dont go buying stuff if your not sure it will solve the problem.
