witti,
it was good to see you out there. I am currently running the Edelbrock carb. When I had the stocker I only used Mikuni jets, so I can't give any good tips with the Dynojet kit. Your 400 was running really strong. I had a lot of problems over the week and am still playing with the adjustments on the new carb, but I was really surprised at how well some of the 400s and Predators and stock Raptors were running.
Of course none of the 4-strokes at SL could keep up with the 90+ hp banshees. Next year I will give them a good run when I have my 686 or 727 with NOS. I have all the suspension I need, now I can concentrate on spending money on speed. But I think I also need reliability. I hate breaking down.
As far as the header stud breaking question, I thought that I have read about alot more problems of this with the Alien exhast than with any other. I don't remember seeing any posts about this with the Yosh. Am I missing something? Will the fix with the Grizzly studs be something any machine shop could do for me? I don't have a drill press, and I don't want to screw up my head.
