Sorry , I think whom ever is riding the stock raptor dosent know how to ride , we have the same mods(CT & K&N kit) and it takes me a lot of
work to bet a raptor and I am only talkin trails . As far as a drag 1st-5th not a chance , 1st - 3rd all depends on the holeshot.

Easily beating a raptor just doesn't happen, in my opinion. You can beat one sometimes with a good pipe and the airbox lid removed but not through the higher gears. You'd have to get a different sprocket to get it to higher speeds. Really you can't beat a raptor on top end without some engine work. It's possible to beat them in a 300 foot drag with a pipe but not easily, raptors just too much machine. Z's weren't really designed to beat raptors in drag races but they'll more than hold their own on a track, peace.

My 440 beats stock Raptors fairly easily. Some have been closer than others due to better riders. I mean, its weird because one second I will beat one by 5-6 lengths, then a different one will come around with different rider and it is a little struggle to win! My neighbors 440 is exactly the same as mine (-same kit, same shop, same pipe, etc) except he has the FCR40mm carb on his and he absolutely kills me. The stock Z carb really gets choked up when you do big bore. He dynoed 7 HP higher than me. So it all depends on how "built" the 440 is.

I'd sure like to race you then. I know a stock grizzly probably has a really good top speed but if we drag on pavement or dirt, I'll wave by by and you won't see me again. In the sand that four wheel drive might hook up and beat a z, I'm not sure. I know I've seen a prairie beat a grizz before and I've beat the prairie.
