You are going to have more to be sad about if you don't get that tranny fixed. I noticed it was a little weird making noise during a race and it exploded after i got to my truck..it would have cost $1500 to fix all the internal damage but i had an extended warranty.

Good new is that remember that how fast a quad goes depends on the rider and I usually only lose to more experenced riders.The raptor is fast as any human should go especially if you did a few mods. Even if its just a pipe. That makes a huge diff.

 

I totally agree. I bought my Z cause i dig it! If that why u got a raptor...then go spend more time ridin it...and less time worry'n bout what other people think about it! Get that tranny checked if it is acting weird because mine made a few noises during a race and acted weird and when i got back to my truck it blew up. It would have cost me $1500 if I had not bought that extended warranty.
Don't listen to other people your quad is really fast and most races are won because of the rider and not the machine.

i think its bs that yamaha doesnt replace them, like if u take it back saying its messed up or junk, they should replace it if its a 01' since thats the main problem,its stupid!

I don't really care if someone on a *insert model here* can beat me on my raptor or Grizzly... that is just fine and dandy with me. I bought my bikes for ME (and the wife) and that is all I care about
