My DS is down and I ran across a good deal on a blaster just so i could go ride....havent been riding in about 1/2 a year. And now, my blaster acts as if the plug is fouled. Heres what i did and it has me confused..
-stuck my finger in the plug boot and kicked it over......IT HAS SPARK
-dipped the plug in gas and burnt it....then took a wire brush to it and cleaned it and gapped it....put it in....and nothing........so then i shot starting fluid to it....nothing....
whats the deal here?! Somebody please help me.....thanks in advance!

i agree with raptor58....new plug...clean your air filter...make sure gas is gettin to the carb by drain'n some from the bottom of the float bowl...(and make sure nuthin but gas comes out!!!) then try it again. jus for fun....hold the new plug against the head....with the plug wire on it....and make sure the spark jumps the gap. it dont take much voltage to shock ya...but it does take a lot to jump an air gap. good luck!

Does it run? Ran into a problem with a kids blaster over the weekend where a reed valve broke in the middle of riding the bowl at Sand Mt. acted like it ran out of gas. It wouldn't start but everything checked out ok. Took a raptor and 8 guys to get the bike out of the bowl and back to camp where further investigation revealed the broken reed. Just a thought.

will it start at all? I know i could start mine and it would die unless i kept on revving it and this turned out to be tors. All i had to do was disconnect it, to bad i didn't know that before taking it to the dealer, 100$ for them to unhook a wire. I had no idea what was wrong with my carb and i took it apart and everythin..haha ohhh well, **** happens.
