Default Pledge to clean your Plastic????

I read a couple of post that members use pledge to clean their plastic, well get this - I cleaned my raptors gas tank just to test it out, and it made it all dull looking after it dried I was kinda burnt at the whole thing cuz of what I read on here. I was all was using Armour all and it works great so I thought I would see if pledge was better and it jacked up the plastic bad. I wont be using that any more. I will just have to make bigger stickers to cover the tank up I guess. Just thought I would let you all know about this experience I had.

Pledge works good on gel coat of boats and airplanes but not quad plastic. I use Formula 2001 in the green spray bottle for my plastic. And 409 then mothers polish for aluminum nerfs, bumber, 6 pack rack. 409 for the tires too.

Agree , the Formula 2001 is the best , the more you put on the better it shines

Yes I did clean it first. I even took the tank stickers off after I washed it then put the pledge on to kinda make it match where the sticker was and it made that part dull too. I will stick with Armour all.

go to your dealer or auto parts, dealer and get a can of " Pro Prep" or FUCHS Silkolene Pro Prep Hard Surface Conditioner, after you clean your quad spray it on. let it set for a while and wipe it off with a terry towl makes it shine like NEW!! its great!! i recommend it to everyone
