T-5's, are they worth the money?
T5 are a great pipe, but you might look at the T6 now. I have t5 on one of my banshees, and cpi on the other. I prefer the cpi, they seem to be more torquey and the power seems to come on smoother. The t5 have a hard hit, and pull real hard, the cpi comes on smoother and pulls just as hard or harder.
Toomey pipes have an awesome fit and finish, the cpi is not as great. They look killer, but you have to trim the fenders for them to fit and I have a little head clearance issue on one side.
I really like the t5, and would not hesitate to get them again, but I think I prefer the power with the cpi.

batouttahell is right. i like my cpi's, but sometimes i wish that i had the toomey's instead. like when i burn my knuckle turning the fuel on/off. forget wearing shorts- just ask raptorridertx. he rode my bike about 50 feet and came back with a burn on his leg. and the fit and finish on them isn't all that great either. i am going to get mine rechromed someday. but, that being said- when you pin the throttle, they sing to you. that right there makes it all worth it.

I think for an off the shelf pipe the cpi makes more power.

I have CPI's as well and they give a lot of power. Low, Mid, and Top!!!!
I have a old set of Trinity Bad Boy Pipes (I think late 80's or early 90's)
These pipes on my other Banshee pulled extremly hard on top end, and gave the bike a lot more top end as well. I have to put them on just to see if they pull harder on top than the CPI's.

I run CPI's on my flattrack banshee. They are awesome for that motor. For my playbike, I love the Pro-circuits. They come on LOW and pull hard all the way through. I am guessing my PC's come on at least 1500 rpms before T-5s do. THis makes a killer trail bike. Also, we were playing on a tight MX track last weekend. I could approach the hills at lower speeds, then accel quickly without bumping the clutch. They are by far my favorite pipes for trail riding.
