I have an 03 Wolverine. After riding for about an hour, if I punch the throttle while in lower rpms, it will miss and spit and sputter for a second. It also does it in neutral. It's fine until about an hour of riding.

Is your engine broken in yet and have you adjusted the valves since then?? If this is not the case sometimes its just in the fuel system where alot of funny problems lie. Its hard to believe what just cleaning your carb, fuel lines, petcock, tank, and fuel filter can do.

I've got about 9 - 10 hours on the machine and it's about due for the first service.

since you are going to have your machine at the shop, ask them to take a look at it. Although you could do it at home if you wish. As this board could help you out a lot.
