Your kidding right, i know that, but there is no difference. Same thing, 2 ci. Like the 2 ci is going to make a difference. Yea there is a difference between a lt1 and a ls1, but as far as ci, not really. same thing as in quads it may be a 50cc whatever but the actual engine is say a 49cc. But i mean if you want to get technical and all, yea it is a 347, but really, you don't hear people going around saying that it is a 347.

no..but you dont hear people going around calling them 350 either! Only a few people call them 350s. everyone usually calls them LS1s. To call them 350s would be wrong.

I know what your saying though, people always do that, with quads calling them bigger then they are..hell the 302 5.0 mustang motor isnt even a 5.0, its a 4.9. The real 5.0 was the 305. if you wanna get technical.

Good discussion here! I'm really impressed with the automotive knowledge some of you have. I was beginning to think this place was a bunch of 14 year olds after seeing some of the "Raptor vs XXXX" or "Beat a Raptor with my 200X" threads.

Around here they are a dime a dozen. I will never get rid of my GT but would not mind having one of those new Cobras.

Same story here. I've been toying with cars for 10 years or so and Mustangs for 6 or 7.......but I guess that does not necessarily mean there is any sort of credible merit in anything I say.
I'm quite a newbie with quad knowledge.

And BTW,347,350,790,whatever. They still suck at mowing lawns. My lawn tractor straight out whooped it on the back lawn at my house.
I was up against a Z06 and all he could do was donuts. I mulched his a$$.
My lawn tractor must be a monster. I can snap the clutch and pull the front wheels on GRASS. Lets see a Z06 do that!
(hahaha)

my golly, let's get another thing straight, the "350" chevy was not exactly 350 c.i.! there might be an engine that has the precise displacment advertised, but i do not know of one. engine's usually tend to be rounded up to the next even number.

^^^^ what carver said^^^^ yea i think that i have seen a few familiar faces here from either the corral or stangnet. I usually just lurk on there everynight, but someimes i post if it is anything important to me. So sometimes i like to think that i have aleast some ground to stand on. Bu i mean there should be no arguments between ford-chevy, I mean the main point of this topic was about a banshee beating a gt. Big deal. Now it has escilated into jap and american vehicles. All i have to say is don't forget where you come from. Part of the reason is many americans have spent their money on this jap stuff. Making hem stronger in the process. Yea some of their stuff is good. But it isnt' like it is on some pedistal, making them better. American by birth and i plan on staying that way.
