I never had a problem smokin those little 4.6s in my 93 GT. Torque baby. Love the 5.0 it makes plenty of power @ low rpm. My engine is now getting a little tired, i guess now its time for a Coast High Performance 347, YIPPEE!

 

Yeah, the first few years of 4.6 weren't too hot. The newest ones have a lot more power dialed in. Go stroker baby!

 

The 4.6 they use in the mustangs are very strong engines the 03 cobra is producing 390 hp that car will haul a$$. But i think if ford really wanted to make the mustang fast the could goo to a 351 or a 427!!

 

The new Cobra has a blower which helps considerably!

 

Just get a subaru. Then you can have all kinds of fun spankin mustangs. And your only talking about a 2.0 litre engine!!

 

You must be referring to the WRX. Those all wheel drives are a mother!

You are correct but the 5.0 is cheaper and easier to mod.

 

I don't really care what engine a mustang has I will still like it because it is a mustang! My ideal mustang would be a BOSS though with a 427!

 

It's getting hard to find nice 5.0 cars to build up. Heck, I'm even considering replacing my 93 with a new Cobra. It'll be nice to install exhaust, a smaller blower pulley, have a chip burned for it on the dyno and then have a near stock 11 second car with a full factory warranty![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
