Hey Guys
I just recently got back from the Little Sahara dunes in OK. Had a great time and the Wolverine performed alot better than I thought it would. But I want to give it some more horsepower. I was thinking of adding a K&N filter, Jet kit and maybe a pipe, I do hunt alot so I don't want a pipe that is too loud. If you guys have any suggestions on kits, pipes, etc. Please let me know!

I have a '99 Wolverine that I just recently modified. Put on a Pro Design filter adapter with Pro-Flo filter, a Dynojet kit, and FMF exhaust, the exhaust has a silent core you can use which makes the exhaust very quiet, I don't use it unless I'm in the woods, but anyhow the bike has alot more power and really flys now! I would highly recommend it....

How quiet are we talking? As quiet as stock or quieter?

I wouldn't say quieter than stock, but not loud either, it has a deeper tone than the stock pipe does, but it's definitely not something that would bother anyone, I've heard some other bikes with stock pipes that were louder than this one....but if you take out the insert and open it up, it sounds mean as $%@#!

Hey thanks for the suggestions...could you let me know what the model number was on the FMF pipe with the core...and what kind of price should I expect? Did you have to rejet your carb?

The model # is Y-401M, I installed a Dynojet kit at the same time so yes I did rejet. I'm running a 150 main jet right now. I ordered mine from 4 Wheel Thunder, paid about $215.00 if I remember correctly....
