Can a Raptor outrun the Kawasaki 700?
I have raced a couple of V700 at Pismo and neither one of them came close on the take off and at the end, I believe I was about 10 to 12 bike lengths ahead of them. Now if they were modded out with pipe, jets, sprockets and some real good paddles then I would like to see if it could stand up to the raptor. Until I see one set up, I think they are like a battle tank and can only go as fast as it could carry its load.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
A guy says he outran a V by 12 quadlengths and I have no doubt everybody on this forum believes it, but I show pictures of me taking a Raptor by 5-6 quadlengths, not once but twice, and it must be a fake.

He he he.
Well I own a V also, and in bone stock trimm they are not going to set the world on fire!! It is my wifes quad, and despite my URGES to modify it, I cant.
BUT, I have seen what a properly set-up V can do(samcoeds). and anyone that was at ALEDO , also has seen what a "tuned" V can do.
It is piontless to argue with most of these Rappy guys, but I can garrantee you the DS/rappy guys in OK/TX respect the V as a formitable oponant.(sp).
