Biggerisbetter.....did you miss my post concerning any sport atv and drag racing? In a nutshell, on the forums, whatever you own, it's the fastest and has never been spanked. In the real world beat downs occur, but do not exist here...LOL.

But I for one dont have a problem saying that "I" lost. Its OK to be humbled now and then. I have been beat by alot of different machines,and afterwards I always go up to the guy and say GREAT RACE! The only thing that pisses me off if I loose, is if MY quad is not running like I think it should, but that is MY fault, and I make NO excuses to the guy that beat me. I will come back Stronger,and challenge them again.

WE all have ALOT of fun drag racing at LS. Most always the fastest guy always wins ,but not every race!!!! DSmike ,Samcoeds,myself and many others can go the the dunes, and NEVER get past the drag strip!! LMAO we can run 4-5 tanks of fuel just racing each other(yes I am a gluttun for punishment).

Too me "strong" ego's do not belong in Racing, cuase thier is always somebody that is faster. But if you can race to just have fun and be competitive then you will probably never get "burned out". MY .02

it makes me mad to see that people think that a raptor cannot lose to a V. i seen it happen soo many times at Silver Lake, and the V's had only the holeshot tires on, and were bone stock. most of the rappy's had sand paddles, and whatever else. and as soon as we get the camera to work, we will post every single race that happened.

well the h1 is a triple 500 2-stroke, running 60 hp stock, reaching speeds of 120. the h2 is a 750 triple 2-stroke. yeah.

 

I have been on these forums for the past 2-3 years and all I hear from the Raptor owners is "There is no replacement for displacement". Now the 700 comes out and it's too heavy!!

Try and follow the VForce through the woods on a raptor and you will find out how bad the auto really is. My lap times in the woods were equal on a modded Z and the VForce. I have ridden a stock raptor and there is no way it will keep up with either quad in the woods.

I would like to see less talk about drag racing and more about laptimes on MX, TT, and HareScrambles. This is what it's all about. How much can you really improve your riding while drag racing? The better rider almost always wins in anything but drags.
