Default YFZ450 LUG NOT INFO

little info for any one wants to change there lug nuts on there yfz450..the lug nuts that come stock are S@$* !! they strip very easy..i found this out when i took them off to put my sand tires on..the size of the stud that your lug nut goes on is a 10mm and that is also the same size as a GEO metro..so i got chrome lugs from a tire shop in my area and they are only about 2 bucks a lug nut...the the best part is you can use a 4 way tire iron to take them off and on..because 4 way tires irons have a 17mm size on them ......with the stock lug it is a 14mm and there are no 14mm tire irons...

yes very postive !! the lugs they got for me at the tire shop are for a geo metro...it is one of the few cars around that has a 10mm thread...but the nice thing is it's a 17mm nut where the stock nut is a 14mm..and you cant find a tire iron that has a 14mm....and you will pay less for the chrome lugs at a tire shop....

had to be a chevy to have that kind of small nuts, lol. the raptor nuts are the same though 14mm - they do come off with a 3/8 ratcet and an extension though after you "help" them a little - after you get the friggin YAMAHALOCKTITEYOURASS sealant off..I want to buy this loctite they use - its better than the red locktite, LOL
