Anyoen know?
Im seriously thinking this is my best bet to get sport and untility?

 

A friend of mine bought a 5-speed, and said the speedo will read 62 mph, another with the auto said his will only do 60 mph.......these are bone stock at about 1500-2000 ft elevation........

 

What part of TN you from?

What part is that in(southeastern) etc.
Im thinking this will be a superior option to the big bear since its faster and stronger.

 

I'm right on the Kentucky line about 1 hour north of Knoxville.......

 

My auto Vinson has done 61.4 on a staight flat road using my Garmin Gps. My buddy did 62.5 with his manual Vinson but got there a little quicker.

 

By the way both speedos read 61mph. The speedo doesn't read any higher than that, it stops at 61 for some reason. I tried to get it to go higher by lifting the quad off the ground with a lift and punched it to see how much speed is lost to friction and wind resistence (not very scientific) and the speedo topped out at 61mph even though the machine was clearly reving higher. Who knows?

 

Dunno but it looks like ill be buying this instead of a big bear because its faster and yamaha doesnt make a real sport utility and i really want a manual with auto clutch FAST 4 wheeler but still have utility features.

 

mine did 62 mph stock. now with 27" 589s it hits 58 mph. this is going by the speedo.
