flywheel removal help

Hey Man I do not Advise heating up the shaft or the flywheel you may just fry your oils seals and or worse.
Im not sure of the tool but if it is what I think it is a thing which screws into the flywheel then it has a big bolt you wind in to pull the wheel loose? If it is put quite a bit of pressure on by tightening that bolt then give the bolt head a few good sharp whacks with the hammer.
This has worked many many times on my motorcross bikes let me know

more fly wheel trouble ,i give up! ok decided to give it one last shot to get this friggin thing off to have it lightened.hooked puller up, tighten it down, pop it with hammer couple times .i done this a couple times and started to make some headway or so i thought.all i managed to go was flare out the end of the friggin crank where the puller pushes against to pop off wheel. i almost couldnt get the flywheel nut back on to secure flywheel like it needs it anyway. do you guys think messing up the end of the crank like that will cause any problems like not being balanced or whatever?
