Nitromethane only mixes with alcohol and nitropropane, nitroethane and propylene oxide will mix with gas. From my understanding nitropropane is about 70% as affective as nitromethane and propylene oxide is slightly less affective. Prop. carries 32% oxygen and nitropropane carries 52% oxygen. Give or take a few %. Either one will build more heat in the engine so have your jetting dead on and it could be neccessary in some engines to retard timing. Slim

Yeah prop. is not to good for you. It is absorbed in the skin on contact and is cancerous. It will also evaporate pretty quickly so do not store too much of it. Anyone that has some be very careful it is poison. Slim

Dayum, I think I will stick with gas.

Well, maybe a little N2O on the side, you know, just to make it burn quicker.

yes, that chit will go right through the skin and straight to you liver and "burn" it.

I think breathing exhaust at the sand drags at Glamis has caused some damage to my liver and now I cant drink as much booze as when I was younger. LOL

This stuff is for real. Everything he said it would do it has done. Drilled some mains out adjusted the needles added 13oz.'s and it feels like two different bikes. I'm a little lean on top and rich in the middle so I will be cutting back to 8oz's extreme and 2oz's klotz nitro and doing my final jetting there. I wouldnt reccommend anyone going this high on the stuff and Doug doesnt reccomend 13oz's either; he was stunned at me going that high but I driiled my mains out very big so I knew it would be little chance at it leaning out to the point of no return. I am hoping to get a chance Sunday to go to the 1/8th mile asphalt track so i'll keep everyone informed. Later Slim

Glad to hear it!

Say, could you give me some gearing advice? My Raptor is piped/jetted with a 20 shot of n2o. I run 20 inch 8 paddle edges right now but am planning to upgrade to a 21 or 22 inch double buff extreme hauler soon. I want the gearing that would be good for on the bottle, but not overkill for when I am off the bottle. Thanks, and sorry it is off topic, I just thought you would have some ideas.

Wallstreet, I think 14/40 14/39 would probably be the best with the 21 or 22 inch tires and it shouldnt effect you that much while you're off the bottle. This is the gears I ran when I just had a pipe and jet kit with the pro performance k and n air filter kit and it improved me everywhere. The Raptor motors are torquy so they handle a taller gear good and you have upped your hp 8 to 10 off the bottle so it will like the taller gear. Try it and I think it may supprise you at the difference it can make. Slim

do you think mine will have the power to pull the 15/40 very well?
I have the stage one hotcam.........that is a mid range cam correct?.....a high rev cam would probably be better?

also.......I have run about 2 tanks of AV 100LL fuel through it.........it runs strong.........that isn't going to hurt it is it?
