Default raptor carb question?

I might be catchin ya a bit late, but I had the same problem....about two seconds into the wheelie it would stall....and it would stall climbing steep hills too. That sucked. I was frustrated. After about two weeks of tinkering I finally bent the tabs down on the floats....What a difference! It wheelies great now, and no stalling unless it sits on the grab bar..... I looked into the Edelbrock setup and even called and talked to an Edelbrock engineer.... He said their Quicksilver carbs will run upside down....no joke! But $650 bones is alot....I'll keep the stockers for now....!

I haven't had a problem with climbing steep hills or wheeling until I changed the needles and didn't set them correctly. LOL. Alittle tinkering and it was fixed. No problem since then.

I would use 35mm FCR"s and you need to get the Trinity intake. It offsets the carbs to keep it away from the exhaust and clear the frame. it comes with new boots that fit the carb's great. The extra distance from the head gives a better fuel mixture. Can't beat it for a $100.
