OK, so now there are still more questions about the new Yamaha after reading the July issue of DirtWheels.

After looking at the "Spy Photo" and concept drawing you can clearly see cooling fins on the engine. But, there is something attached to the frame in front of the engine which appears to be a radiator. DirtWheels believes it is either the YZ426, the 600cc engine from the Grizzly-TT600-XT600, or the MZ660 as Gabe mentioned. Looks like they haven't thought of anything new that has not been mentioned here.

So I guess we will all have wait for the press release which should be out sometime within the next couple of weeks.

My hopes are up. I think that the article was preparing us for the let down of no 426. That's just an oil cooler up front. Guess Cannondale's the new bike to get.

I read somewhere that the motor in the new Yammy is a hopped up version of the 600 cc Grizzly motor.

You can see a coolant resavoir on the back of the machine. So that means its liquid cooled.

Hey! Could someone scan in the photos from the July issue for us non-subscribers? The magazines wont be on the newsstands for another week.

Expect a 400cc motor like the old YZ or WR 400 with a different top end. I have heard that it will hound the Banshee for the badest Yamaha ATV. Keep an eye out early to mid june for the release.
