I got my sparks racing exhaust today for my 450 and looks great. I have not rode it yet but I am sure it will run awesome. I did the cam mod and I got a gyt-r jet kit for it. I also had my uncle who is a machinist build me an adapter to go in my airbox so I ripped the plastic thing out with the screen in it and I now have a K&N with outerwear. I will let you know how it runs.

how hard was it to do the cam mod? big performance gain?
I saw the post that said how to do the mod, but I thought I would see if you thought it would be worth doing.

How much was the pipe?

 

The cam mod is very easy to do and definantly worth it. I rode it a week ago after I did it and could tell a difference. The power was better all the way through and it revs quicker, this was with the stock exhaust and baffle in. I did not notice any loss of bottom end and the engine feels torquier. Good modification I would recommend it.

 

The sparks pipe cost 449.00 and you can get them at terry racing. Much easier to get ahold of then sparks themselves and excellent customer service.

I have only heard good things about them, but I have never seen one.
Have not heard of sparks until I joined this forum.

 

Sparks pipes perform well and sound great. Love mine and I have had Duncan, FMF, and white bros. This 450 just performs awesome
