Default WARRIOR JETTING QUESTION....

Have you done a spark plug check to see if the electrode is white or brown/black? It should be gray if you are running a good mixture. White would be lean and brown/black rich... I'm not sure what altitude Minnesota is but for some reason I want to associate it with mountains... (higher the altitude the smaller the jet you need, 150 is generally associated with altitudes around sea level to +1500 feet I believe) of course when you live in Oklahoma like I do, a good sized hill looks like a moutain . When I jetted my Warrior I went with a 150, I started with a 148 but it was very choppy... the 150 solved that (Im at +1200 feet or so). I wish I could remember the logic behind the clip adjustment on the needle but I just followed the instructions that came with the dyno jet kit I ordered and while I remember that I moved the clip 2 positions I cant recall if it was up or down. The dyno jet kit has a nice trouble shooting guide as well, sorry I'm not at home or I would pass on what it says about the stuttering problem.

Another suggestion is to do an advanced search on this forum for Warrior and Jet, simultaneously and you will find alot of threads about Warrior jetting.
