they say that the grizzly 660 has some overheat problems? but that they solved that problem in 2004...its something about steam getting in the intake, causing sputtering.

I have the Grizzly, and my dad has the Kodiak 450. Both are great quads, but the Grizzly will go through a lot more deep stuff just because of the IRS. The solid rear axle on the Kodiak will bottom out long before the Grizz.

On the flip side, the Kodiak has a more sporty feel, an slides a little better in the corners without feeling tippy.

Hope this helps.

We have had both quads for two years with no problems what-so-ever.

2003 Grizz, 2003 450 Kodiak

I have a grizzly 600 4x4 (solid axle) and it goes through some pretty tough stuff...And overall its a wonderful quad, feels a little sporty and drives like a tank

if you get a grizz buy a 2004, get some 28" mud tires and you'll go through just about any mud whole you can find. ive yet to get stuck in mud.
