i am putting a new piston in my blaster and was wondering how to break it in?? i need to know befor i ride it..

 

Is it a new bore? or just new piston and rings?

If its a new bore/piston, I say ride it up to 1/2 throttle with bursts of 3/4 throttle for 1/2 tank of gas.

If its just piston/rings, I would ride a couple times around the yard and then have at it to seat them well.



Regardless, running a little hard when just breaking in rings and piston will make the rings seat earlier in my experience.
