Putting Toomey TR6's on by myself? Is it worth the risk or should I just pay the $170 to get it done?

I noticed you said you were running redline at a 32:1, i recomend swithching to Motul 800 factory line offroad fully synthetic and go with a 50:1, I think it is the best thing you can do for your engine and put some Belray 80w in there, i recomend you take your main jett down one or two and see how it is running, it could get better, I doubt it will get worse but it isnt that hard to switch them back but if you notice any popping sounds out of the norm then dont ride on it, swith back imediately, let me know how it goes

take one carb almost all the way apart, and pay close attention and learn what everything is. if you cant figure out how to put it back together, use the other one as a guide.

There is nothing to jetting. The only hard part about stock banshee carbs is those TORS things are always in the way. All you have to do for the main jet is take the bottom off, unscrew the main jet, then screw the new one in. Put the bottom back in, and your ready to go. For the needle, take the slides out, change the needle, put the slides back in, then make sure the slides are opening in sync. Put filters on and your ready to go. Soon, you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed.
