i powervalve is a valve that is in your exaust port that is closed to raise yur compression. when it opens at a certain rpm, than you have a quicker reving quad. the powerband is when your quad makes power. so, if you quad makes power from 3000 to 5000 rpm than that is your powerband. that is where your quad makes power
