popping raptor

ok i bought a new trinity stage IV pipe and but it on tongiht and when i started it poped a little when i gave it gas i drove it a little then checked the plug it was not rich a littlelean but then i put a new one in then it would barely start and run popping and backfireing is that casue i dint jet it right?? it came with two sets of jets im running stock air filter maybe ill take the snorkle off but that is y it was popping right and do i need those gaskets that came off the stock head pipe from the motor on the new ones and that new pipe is alot louder than my R4 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img])

If you remove your snorkle you may run even leaner due to more air being sent into your engine. Fix the problem you have now before doing anything else. Mod in stages as so you know where you are and what does good or what does nothing at all.

You guys need to rejet. popping is a lean condition, jet up before you burn it up.

How about a slight hesitation when you give it the gas. All I've done is remove the snorkle. With the R4 and GYTR foam filter and STOCK jets I am still running strong but I think ther is a lot more potential if I go up a bit with the jets.

and it hesitates pretty bad when you first gass it.
