i think a 300ex or a warrior would be a bit too much, maybe its just me, but i would start on a blaster, z250,or 250ex as a first quad, a blaster has a powerband like a 4 stroke (i owned one when i was 12 and then it got stolen a month later), i handled it very well, i gained a lot of experience on it, stepped up to a 300ex and a few months later a banshee, im 15 now and i think you would get more experience starting off on a smaller quad and working your way up to a raptor, instead of just getting one right away riding the same amount of time on it than working up to a raptor. all im saying is that a blaster would be an excellent quad to start on,then a 400ex then a rappy,it would give you experience on a different variety on quads instead of just owning one until you decide to get a more powerful quad with as little as there are now.

You do not need a raptor, like everyone else said a 300ex or a blaster will fit you much better. A raptor is made for a experienced rider, you would end up hurting yourself or worse.
