For those guys who have FCR carbs on your raptors, can you tell me how you have jetted the carbs:

Fuel screws
Main jets
Main air
Slow jet
Slow air
Needle clip position
Altitude

I will be installing my FCRs tonite and am looking for a baseline for these things.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Motor mods should be part of your investigation. I have a ported 12:1 686 w/Hotcams Stage 2. I run straight VP C12 race fuel. My carbs aren't completely dialed in due to a hand injury but I'll give you what I've got so far.

Fuel screws - 2-2.5 turns out
Main jets - 142/148 but I think it's a little rich
Main air/slow jet/slow air - whatever Sparks shipped
Needle clips - 2nd from top, shipped from Sparks on middle groove but couldn't get past half-throttle
Altitude - sea level
