jetting info? 686 with mild port.....
#1
I should be getting motor back in the next few days ands looking for suggestions on jetting.
It will have 12to 1 je piston with hot cam stage 2 and kibble white springs with mild port job.
Also have pro flow foam at this time with no lid and hole cut in box. Will be using mikuni jets and needles.

Did you get the Craycraft coatings on the piston and head? If so, you have a little extra insurance to run on the edge of lean. I found that 190/195 had more top end than 195/200 in mine. With 195/200, it ran like a monster but the top end didn't scream. With 190/195, my Raptor had insane top end power, a noticeable difference from 195/200. I used 27.5 pilots at just under 2 turns but 25 would also work with another turn or so. I ran my Mikuni needles on the 3rd groove from the top with DJ slide springs. Running straight VP 105 and C12, I could not get the needle valves and floats to work reliably after the first couple of weeks though. I'd get everything adjusted and running right and then for no reason, fuel would start leaking out of the overflow and I'd get a terrible bog off-idle. I damn near killed myself on a couple of large jumps when the bog came on the face of a jump. I ended up ordering FCRs, I wish you better luck with the stock carbs. Congratulations, your Raptor is going to feel like a very different animal:-)

coating on piston but head does not, could not afford to do it again. had the whole thing ported, valves, springs and coated but my mechanic put my piston in backwards and would not pay to have all the stuff done, He said he was gonna port it himself. Screwed up situation.
