Default Blaster stalls on woops

In our last race, my son's Blaster stalled three times in the woops section of the track. It was hard to start and he lost position. Any suggestions as to why this happened? He has a 2002 with a new pipe, jetting (270) with a drilled air box.

First check the obvious things. e.g. make sure it’s not set on reserve, it has gas, check spark plug etc… next what year is it?

The air screw is set at 1 1/2 turns.

If it only happens on whoops, I'd check the float level. He's probably running dry in the bowl.

i would say the same thing...I would try getting a bigger carb or one with a fuel pump(ect) something that can do the job quicker.
