I need to know how to build a mild 686 kit. Like what size and compression piston, what size cam and so on. I really dont wont to go full out and the most important thing is for it to be reliable. i wouldn't mind running 50/50 race at most. Please let me know your thoughts.

Depending on your elevation, a mild kit would consist of a 11:1 piston (12:1 if you want 50/50 race), and a Stage 1 hotcams (theres a web cam one but the HC is better) and thats good for sea level, if your around 4500+ ft do the 12:1 and you can get by running pump 91.

an 11:1 piston at 102mm with a stage one cam makes a pretty nice combo and still remains a good all-around bike.

I have a craycraft 686 consisting of a 11:1 & a Hc stage 1,head Porting..

I love the power and it rips in the drags and is great in the trails, sand ,desert,etc,etc..

it's gets better with every ride..

I'm at 5200 feet running a 12.1 stock bore, stage 1 cam and porting. I run 101 but I could run 91 pump if I wanted I just like the better fuel!
you can go with stock bore 100mm or 102mm 686 but you will still have to have to bored to the RIGHT spec!
ccgradt I'd get to ported also it makes all the world!! The power is amazing!!!!!!

yes it will and it will be almost as noticable as a 102mm bore. Porting will be around $400 or so depending on where you get it done.
