Need some advice on modding my Raptor..
Hey guys, I'm finally gonna start modding my Raptor and I need your help. All I really want to do is be able to lead the pack when we're out exploring and be able to beat any other raptor thats been piped, jetted..nothing major...what do you guys recommend?

A mild Craycraft 686 package,is the best all aroung package you can get..jmo
it's fast from the top to bottom and it does just what you want and more....It';s reliable,It's fast and it runs great...
If we meet up at Glamis you can see how she runs, ill beat 80% percent of bikes out there...

If you want to be ahead of the piped/jetted Rappys then you'll want to get a full exhaust (I'd reccomend Yoshimura or Sparks), an adapter that allows removing the airbox (sixsixt, a member on here, makes one, you can PM him), jet kit (Dyno jet or GYTR or the like), Hot Cams Stage One (only $125, and retains good low end, and you can keep stock valvesprings), stock bore 11:1 piston (this is not a necessity if you don't want to tear int your motor, but really adds to the cam, if you do get one, make sure you fit the cylinder to the piston, and also still runs great on premium). This should put you ahead of many of the Raps out there, but if you want to go even further you could have your head ported (Craycraft, Robertson, or any other respectable shop). This is the list I would have gone in if I wouldn't have got my NOS, but I think soon I will add a stage one cam anyway, cheap and reliable hp on and off the bottle. Good luck with your decision.
