My friends have done this on their Shees and have had no overheating issues. First, you need to have the cylinders and head sandblasted. Be very careful that you do not get any in the cylinder! Then, wash off and tape off the cylinders and head and do a couple coats of primer followed by several coats of paint. Any good high temperature paint will do, look for it at Autozone or Oreillys. Good Luck!

WALLSTREET,
how do you think a bench grinder with a wire brush wheel would work for preping the cylinders for a coat of paint.i know i would get some brush marks in the cylinders but i believe a good paint job would cover it up.

Wire wheel wont work to well and will be a pita. beadblasting is quick and painless, just tape off the cylinder and ports.
