Default need to decide between z400 or ltd raptor

the yfz is supposed to be very impressive. i wasn't too sold on them until a buddy of mine who has a 770 Raptor said how impressed he was with it. but if they aren't giving you a deal of 5800 or 5600 on the raptor then i would get the yfz for 6399. Can't get one here in West Virginia for under 7000. And the Raptors are 5800 and less. That's why I'm going with the Raptor. With the money I save, I can build a raptor to crush a YFZ. lol.

but it's up to you, and it's your preference. the Z400 is nothing compared to a raptor or a yfz.

I would get the Raptor!!!!!!! The 450 sounds like a wicked little quad too but I have no seat time on one so I can't comment on it!! Good luck with your purchase!!!!

I have a z400 and I can attest to how good a quad it is but for the dunes the rappy is very superior to the z and that's what I'd get between the two. I would be mighty tempted to get that yfz over the raptor especially if you want to track race any. I think it would perform equally as well or better than a stock or piped raptor in the sand.

For that price DEFINETLY get the YFZ! That is $500 lower than MSRP on it, and right at MSRP on the Rap. The YFZ should be great in the dunes, and you can take the baffle out, take off the airboxx lid, and rejet it and get an easy impressive gain in HP. GO FOR THE YFZ!
