the ds is an outta of the box faster machine than a rappy but wow it gets a whole 2yd lead on the rappy in a drag woop all that for 1000$ more and if ya wanna trail ride ya better watch trying to fit that thing inbetween trees lets not forgetthe part where u get it stuck that 100lbs heavier machine must be a real pain in the ***.. u said the ds had better suspension then a rappy lol r u kidding jumping a ds is like jumping your grampas station wagon over a set of rail road tracks. lets not even talk about how bad they still to this day have trouble with the bump steer those things deliver.. i have yet to see a stock ds650 take a top five win at a mx event ive seen blasters and 300 exs enter the open class and smoke the big over wieght turds they r they r a consumer driven over rated half fast machine but give it a couple of yrs and they will design the damn thing for something besides sand dunes

SHowstopper,
I gotta disagree. I own both machines and the Raptor's suspension is too damn soft compared to the DS. Yeah it's hefty sure, but it sure can soak up stuff better than the Raptor's mushy suspension. Your right, the DS sucks for TIGHT wood riding in where I feel more comfortable on the Raptor but the bump steer isn't as noticable as the crappy handling as the Raptor. DS is a far better slider.
