Blaster rear brakes

Default Blaster rear brakes

my Bros blaster has a problem with the rear brakes you can stand on them push them as hard as you can and still nothing it will roll like in neutral. We had just put new brakes on it i have no clue what to do any help?

you should check to see how tight the parking brake is. my brakes sucked before i tighted up the parking brake

we had the same problem on our blaster we tryed everything we tighten the brake new pads and some more we finally took it to a dealer the worked still not as good as the other but the dealer wouldnt tell us what they did(money thirsty dealers)

i know what u mean about them pain in the a$$ dealers!!!!! Get the hydrolic rear brake kit.

My brakes was the same way, i'd jump up and down on them and nothing . So yesterday I took them apart and turned this white dial two turns, sounded like a ratchet, and now work great, , ,,,,,,,,,, Now, I know nothing about atv,s but no other way to to get to knowing is to jump right in, I dont; know if whay i did fixed them or not but they work now. HMMM go figure

if you tighten the parking brake it will get better?

first off throw away your stock cable and get a motion pro shortie cable and your problmes will be solve once you get dialed in thats what i did to my blaster and the work just as good a hydraulic brakes

I worked on a couple of those 2000"s The piston on the ones i saw were like oxidized - seized . took it apart cleaned up the o- ring turned out the adjuster and they worked. W D 40 the whole thing. I think the 03 has the raptor set up, much better!!!
