YFZ 450 DYNO results done on 8/16/03

Default dyno results for my YFZ 450 done on 8/16/03

these results were done this afternoon about 12:45 in the middle of the heat.temp was 95 degrees with 96% humidity.
mods are:
GYT-R carbon slip-on
165 main 42 pilot
CNVQ needle 3rd clip down
2 1/2 out on fuel screw
exhaust cam retarded one tooth
no airbox lid.
heres the results:
i cut the top of the page off a little, the peak hp you see is about 9400 rpm.

Mate what elevation are you at? and are you sure peak hp was at 94?

peak power was right around that area give or take a couple hunred RPM
and i believe we are around 300' elevation not sure though.

when you buy the yamaha GYT-R jet kit for the YFZ it comes in the kit.
or you can just go to a yamaha dealer and order a stock needle for a 03-04 yzf450 dirtbike.

... This is going to give most raptors a run for the money, but I wonder what a good cam and port job would do to one of these bikes? Sparks is working on one right? Only thing Im glad im not seeing is like what the predaturd owners did and think they were badass's, I will be looking for the compition this year at glamis.

How come the numbers don't match the grid graph. The graph goes 20, 25, 30, 35,40, 45. The numbers 25, 35, and 45 are not seen, but there the line between the even numbers. So by looking at the graph, your putting out 42HP and not 46HP. The torque numbers are closer, but to have 32.2 your line should be near the middle of the box, not at the bottom. These are still good numbers, but the graph doesn't match the numbers given.
