Last night I went to the Maier sight and there were no Wolverine parts. There were, however, Timberwolf fenders listed. They look similar to me so I called Maier this evening when I got in from work.(I'm central time, they're pacific or mountain, Oregon) They didn't know if the parts would interchange. Try calling your Yamamama Dealer to see if you can coax or weedle some info. I think the maier plastic has no mounting holes and you have to make your own. To adapt is to vanquish. NOW to the other matter before us. I'm sorry derekjes if you was the object of wrath for many others last night, but, that being said, I think that atving and alcohol is a topic that warrants serious discussion. And if we the atv community are afraid to ask ourselves some serious questions, just wait, the greenies, the government, the million mom march against ATV's,et.al, will be more than willing to ask them for us, AND GIVE THE (wrong) ANSWER TOO!!
This Should be a Forum Topic. Happy Wheelin the Thumper

Why dont you people get off his back??? (not speaking from experience) Sure drinking and atv's don't mix but come on guys, you all know you were out riding one day and you decided to tackle that huge jump or the nasty mud bog.. Sometimes you just get caught up in something that you normally wouldn't do.. but you figure what the heck.. last weekend hondatrx300ex and I went to arkansas... we went out riding and met some guys and we rode with them.. it was either **** or get off the pot.. The guy just asked if you knew of a place to get fenders, not to give him a 4 hour sermon on the "sin" of alcohol.. Come on, we've all been there!

Well, First of all derek dont pay any attention, most of the guys doing the talking are riding blasters. which sober or not are dangerous, with their light weight and plenty of power, and breaks that couldnt stop a mo-ped. Try yamaha of troy, or call someone like ufo or full bore if theres a big enough need they will start producing plastic, just as maier did with timberwolf plastic, by the way you dont have to be drunk to tear up your quad!

Hey Blastermaster..... did you say RACE??? Gee, isn't that DANGEROUS? Let me get this straight... you say drinking a few beer and riding is bad because you tend to drive more aggressivly, and that's wrong and anyone that does it is, in your words, a "MORON", but It's OK if a group of guys try to kill eachother just to get to the next turn, or to cross a line first. Even if this means running over the guy in front if he happens to wipe out or even land on him if he's unlucky enought to wipe out after a jump. Basicly your argument is that it's OK to drive like an idiot if you're sober? Or is it only OK to challenge a guy to one of these suicidal races only if he insults you by saying the brakes on your bike "couldn't stop a moped"? Is that it? Kinda like a dual to the death? I think maybe you'de better send me a copy of the Blastermaster rules for ATV riding so that I can get it right. Sounds to me, like someone is a bit of a hypocrate. Or maybe even a MORON, by your standards.

Hey DerekJ (Luv2Pump) I posted for ya on the
S&W board about your wreck...won't go into it with all of the jackasses wanting to tell you what to do and whining! Take care of your injuries and get back to riding and lifting and swing by the S&W board more...notice there were no flames about your accident THERE! ha!

Take care amigo and get that shoulder well!

monkE (be you did't expect to see me here!)ha!

Ok SPICEYLIPS. With a address like that, seems like someone is a bit EGOTISTICAL and OPTIMISTIC. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with a little competition. It's HEALTHY, it challenges us to improve, and adapt. The old saying is that BULLS**T walks seems to apply here, however there IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH DRINKING AN RIDING. I am 28 and VERY LEGAL but would not consider setting such a BAD EXAMPLE for other ATVers, at the expense of a higher possiblity of actually INJURING myself or my PRIDE AND JOY! WE all need to learn a lesson and realize that the TWO activities DO NOT MIX. Just some constructive criticism.
