I just put on my handle bar mounted trailtechs, I just cut the yellow wire from behind the headlight socket and ran a wire up to the trails. So now Ive got my stock low beams (crap) and my trail techs as high beams. This setup works great and looks clean, and if I ever want to run my stock highs I can just splice them in.
