I have said this before I know, but I swear that I could put that nut on with my fingers, and it would take a freakin impact to get the SOB back off after a ride. I had to add a 1 1/4 1/2 drive and a 1/2 drive breaker bar to the inventory in my trailer just so I could change gears at the track!

I ran a 12 44 combo for a while and the chain slider was toast after one season of riding. so I now run 13 44 with a lifetime gauranteed T.M. design slider. T.M. will not gauruntee their slider if you run a 12 front sprocket.

I would say after about 40-50 hours. may seem like a while but this is barely a season of riding in my book.

I was running a 12/40, loved it, went to 22's, switched to 12/42, taller tires took alittle from the bottom end, haven't tried this setup out yet. You refer to the slider, which component is that? The plastic peice that bolts to the swingarm that the chain rests on? I know you have the two rollers, upper and lower, the polyurathane peice that's under the chain on the upper side of the skid plate, please enlighten me.

The stock slider is that rubber piece that bolts to the swingarm just behind the rollers that the chain slides on. so it doesn't rub on the swingarm

I have 00 and I changed the front to an 11 right out of the box. The back is the stock one, I think thats 42? I only ride in the SAND; I have sand skateII's 20/11/10's. I have not had to break the chain yet. I just adjusted the chain but I'm at the end of the adjustment. As for the slide I only have
normal wear after 3 seasons. I don't know if it's because I clean the chain after every trip and wax it before every ride.We make 8 ,4 to 5 day trips a season thats a lot of hrs.

My slider has a little wear on it, but still alot of material left, what I noticed going to a 42 on the rear, I had to shim between swingarm and skidplate to keep the chain from riding on the polyurethane material on the skidplate.
