I just put one on mine for riding in the sand. Performace was much better. I only adjusted the chain. Everything else seemed ok.

the only adjustment you will need to make is your chain tension.the switch from a 13 tooth front to 12 tooth is a very good way to gain performance and you will not lose as much top end speed as you might think.

thanks

Im replacing the chain anyhow. I put the 12 tooth on today and it just seemed like the chain guide is going to get chewed up pretty quick.

I like the way it feels so far.

Once I get done the top end shouldnt be too much of a problem.

thanks again

I have had no problems or required mods with a 12T although you do lose a little slack adjustment.

i don't like the high rpm's that you run when you are in 5th gear half throttle...but the 12 is perfect for trail riding. JMO

how much top speed do you lose? I love acceleratino and hardly ever get to use top speed, most quads I ride with only do 65, besides a few. Anyway will I be topping out at 65,70,72?
