I don't think it puts 390 to the ground.

I really like my wife's 98 Talon TSI, it has 3" exhaust, bigger turbo, 65lb injectors, a SAFC and about everything except a FMIC. All that power would be a waste with FWD, but the AWD really makes that car fun from a stoplight. It will hang with my car up to about 50 mph which puts it far, far *faaarrrrrr* ahead of anything off a showroom floor.I like them all, but it really is alot easier to build up a Mustang than any other car out there. New Cobra Mustangs are incredibly fast, and with about $1500 worth of bolt ons they run well into the 11s which is $80K Viper territory and well beyond any Z06 that doesn't have nitrous or a blower. But the Z06 is easily the best total package for the money spent today. It handles and brakes as well as any $200K car, and can make more power than most of them with a Procharger for about $5K.

Also for the guys dissing the Japanese domestic cars as being ricers and being slow... blah blah... In my view, ricers are morons in cavaliers and civics with coffee cans and stickers.... I'm no ricer and have no real preference for either domestic or foreign... But those real japs (Supras, Skylines, Rotary RX7s) are as FAST as domestics with twice the displacement.
Try the Titan Motorsports Street Driven Supra... 1100+ HP on the bottle and 8.9's on the track... This is from a teeny weeny motor.
Try the 1999 Nissan Skyline GTR R34. It has handling and suspension NO DOMESTIC CAR COULD EVER DREAM OF plus the power to run with most big bores... Since there are HP limits in Japan, these cars are highly detuned and UNDERRATED at 285hp from a 2.6 liter twin turbo engine (RB26DETT).. They can easily put out 375+ with not much mods. I've heard of some stock-bore skylines breaking 1200-1300 HP on the bottle and like 1000 all motor... And not to mention the best AWD system in the world will waste those front engine rear-drive Domestics on the track too.
Like I said, I have nothing agaisnt domestic muscle (actually I love em just as much), but stop hating and making stereotypes of Japs.
But please, go ahead, and hate those DAMN civic/cavalier/CRX ricers... I just hate em so much...
