My little Acura may not be the fastest thing on the road, but with gas prices the way they are right now in So.Cal, $2.05 a gallon at local Arco, which is usually the cheapest, I'm glad I don't have to fill-up more than twice a week like my brother with his Mustang GT...

Yah, I guess something happen to the lines here in California..2 bucks isnt nothing.. Its 2.29 for REGULAR right now..down here in Orange County Southern California =(

The last time I checked this was an open forum. I mean, dude, what I said was mostly in humor. In all honesty, my last couple sentences were just waiting to upset someone, but to say my whole post pissed you off that much? I wrote all that "pain and grief over cars" in what...5 minutes? I'm that pathetic that I took a few minutes of my life to type a little reply? I'm THAT big of a loser?!

Yeah, someone puts money into their car, and look at my post...what set me off was the fact that the kid thought he was some badass. Don't tell me I have a chip on my shoulder. To see someone so wrapped up in their car and fail to realize that's not what life's all about. For a kid to go around thinking he's hot sh*t because his mom or dad bought him a car gets me a little angry, but what am I to do? Don't start getting all condescending with me.

Here's my opinion- I like muscle cars, cadilacs, and lifted 4x4 trucks. I can't stand the kids around here that put some body effects, fart can mufflers, and maybe some new rims on there cars and call them street racers. I think all of the nicely built imports are cool, but can't stand the ones like I described!

well, not really. There are some nice imports out there, but they are far and few between

there is NO replacement for DISPLACEMENT. A 4 banger will NEVER sound as good as a V8.

A totally tricked out to the max import will never get the respect of even a lowly modded domestic V8... especially the muscle cars from the 60/70s
