A friend of mine just purchased and old dirt bike for his girlfriends daughter. It is supposed to be a 1970 60cc. Maybe. It used to have a head and tail light so it may have been some sort of trail bike or small Enduro. He needs all the info he can get about the bike such as the correct size and model/ year, he also needs to get pistons and rings for the bike but he needs to know what the standerd bore is first. He has the engine number and that is all. Is their anyway I can get this info for him so he can get it runnunig for the little girls birthday? Can anyone help?

get the vin or throw it in the back of the truck and ride it down to a good dealership. I doubt they make the parts anymore. I wanted to get reeds for my 73 RD and they just looked at me funny. There is always ebay though. Might find another bike that uses some of the same parts too. For instanse my RD can use some banshee parts and can use 2 blaster pistons if you bore it out a bit.

The problem is there is no good dealer ship here anymore. They can't or won't give me the info I need. I do have the vin number. And beleive me I know what that funny look is that they can give a person. I never thought about ebay but I need to find out as much as I can before I look up parts from other bikes or even for another one like this one.
