anyone familiar with tome mabe?

 

I guess I've tried different approaches:
1. Wrong number. 2. No one lives here by that name. (after they screw up my name) 3. DON'T CALL BACK! 4. Click (Just don't say anything and just hang up) 5. OffRder15's approach after I had seen it on tv. (Seinfeld) 6. Don't f-ing call back! 7. Just talk about something dumb to take up their time and then keep talking. 8. Don't you love it when they ask for someone by their first name? Like they're looking for a buddy or something. I've yelled at a few people for doing that. 9. F-you, CLICK.

There's a couple of my responses. Sometimes I get mad when they call. It's almost as bad as a Jehovah Witness coming to the door when I'm in my boxers. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

Whenever someone calls and they dont respond after the first "hello" i hang up.....i dont feel like dealing w/ them damn tellemarketers.

 

I either waste their time by telling them I'll get who they are asking for and set the phone down for 20-30 minutes or I try to turn it on them and sell them something back. Man, the reactions I get from wasting their time trying to sell them something like bald Mustang tires!!!

 

LOFL, this is a funny thread. When i answer, i say HELLO!!?!! like 6 times before they answer, when they ask for my parents, i either act real stupid or just say NO!!! And yah, ive had them ask for the first name only just like theyve known them for years, that makes me so mad.and its ussually MCI that calls

 

If my wife answers the phone, I usually yell "GET OFF THE PHONE B_TCH OR I AM GOING TO FVCK YOU UP".

My wife laughs at that one, she actually had one ask if she needed some help.

If I answer, I have put them on hold, my favorite is to give the phone to my son, he is 6 and loves to talk.

Of they try to sell you a magazine...."Why do you A$$ holes keep calling ME...A BLIND PERSON!!!"

or I say please hold on for a sec and set the phone down and forget about it.

 

i usually just tell them they're not here at the moment n hang up, or if they wake me up, i'll b like NO they're not here, they're WORKING like most ppl at this time (only works in the summer)

 

i got a HOLD button on my phone so whenever a telemarketer calls i'll either tell them to wait a minute and put them on hold for like 10 secs and pic it up and like tlak in a deeper tone of voice and keep putting them on hold ya ... thye get p*ssed or i'll like blow into it and u know it makes that relaly loud earpeicing nosie (there on a headset) cuz it's jstu 1 of those days it's all about the he said she siad BULLSH*T

 

RoughRider, I do the same thing, no hello means theyre a telemarketer...

My neighbor tells them that his wife is dead.

Get them going on a long conversation, something pointless.
