Yes, $20 is about the distributor cost, dealer cost is more than that. $36 might be a little steap, but not as bad as people think. I run these plugs [2 of them] in my ride, and did have to adjust my jetting slightly due to it. On a Raptor, with only one plug per cylinder, the effects might be even greater.
LOL.....now you got me thinking about getting one Knutz.....nah....can't justify it too myself just yet.

I could save $37 by not eating at McDonalds and probably add more speed than with a spark plug. lol I guess a little goes a long way for the serious racer.

250r4life,

That'd be cool. Just look for the black and white Raptor with a Redskin logoed flag.

Besides "nuts" who else would admit to having a 37 dollar spark plug?? I think spit fires cost to much at 3.99. I remmeber back when you could but resistor and non resistor plugs for 79 cents and 59 cents. Ah, the good old days. (80's) the cars sucked so there was no need to put high dollar plugs in them.

Well, I would not pay $37 for any plug either. MSRP on that plug, if it is the plug I'm thinking of [a nickle alloy, fine wire electrode, race plug] , is $30 at most. Distibutor pricing, like I get and I'm sure Alba gets, is $21. Since I was building motors and did alot of R&D, I decided to try them so I could recomend them if they were worth while. In my testing, I didn't feel they were worth the price, so I never suggested them to customers.

I do recomend a good Iridium Platinum, projector electrode plug in the proper heat range for the mods on your motor. Full retail on a plug like that is $7.20.
