I think I payed $3-4 at the local dealership today for a Raptor plug. What type of plug were they selling at Alba? Are you sure it wasn't the spark plug wire or something like that?

p.s. Sorry, I just checked out the link. It is a Racing plug, so it MUST be worth 30 some dollars! Right.

 

As a distributor for many items, including NGK plugs, I can tell you that $10 is about half of their cost for that plug. Yes, $20 is about the distributor cost, dealer cost is more than that.

$36 might be a little steap, but not as bad as people think. I run these plugs [2 of them] in my ride, and did have to adjust my jetting slightly due to it. On a Raptor, with only one plug per cylinder, the effects might be even greater.

 

spark plugs for piston engine aircraft cost 32 ea for standards and 95 ea for iridium tipped extended life ones. you need 12 per engine(dual ignition 6cyl). 384-1140$ yikes.....
