ac pro peg instalation

I just got a set for my raptor.when I hooked the shift loinkage to the new brace it went on very tight and now it shifts to hard.Has any one had this problem.Ithink the o ring seated properly.Do you have to ream it out.

I had the same problem. The paint on the peg is TOO thick. I just sanded the paint off and it worked better. But then I just went a totally different direction and installed a direct-shifter anyways....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

There are many companies that make it, so I chose Pro-Design. It eliminates all the crappy stock linkage and connects directly to the counter-shaft coming out of the tranny. Installation is just one allen bolt, but space it tight at the shaft. And use thread-lock so you won't have to mess with it again. Cost is around $80, but you will notice the Rappy will shift easier without all the adjusting. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
